| Sri Lankan Variety Show 2004 |

Followed by the success of Sri Lankan Variety Show 2003 Sri Lankan Association in Houston is organizing another similar show to raise funds for children's education projects carried out in Sri Lanka by Lak Daruwo Network. This event will be held on January 31, 2004 at the Bayou Theatre in the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
This show will include a variety of items. There will be dances, singing, and short dramas. All the performances will be done by talented Sri Lankans in Houston and other nearby cities. Most of the items will be performed by our talented Lak Daruwos in Houston. There will be a lot of fun-filled items, and we expect the show to be highly entertaining. Sri Lankan community in Houston wishes to contribute to the noble objectives of the Lak Daruwo network. For this purpose, both adults and their children have spent a lot of time and put much effort organizing this event. We expect a high participation of Sri Lankans in Texas and surrounding states. We also invite Sri Lankans who might be visiting Houston during that time. A ticket for the show is $15 per adult and $10 per child from age 6 to 12. We have started distributing tickets in Texas. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate. All the money collected from this event will be used for Lak Daruwo programs. In addition to the money collected from the event, we also welcome your direct contributions to the Lak Daruwo project that strives to guide children in Sri Lanka. Lak Daruwo team will also make a brief presentation about the progress of Lak Daruwo programs during the show. Those who wish to donate can also make their contributions during the event. Sri Lankan community in Houston has spent much more time and made a great effort to present a much better Variety Show this year. Lak Daruwo projects have achieved significant progress during year 2003. With the help of fellow Sri Lankans, we can achieve a lot more during 2004 as well. Therefore, I invite all of you to come and join us in this show. Please note that vehicles can be parked in the student's parking lot. General Information:
