Children in this center have achieved a significant progress over the years.
However, there are a lot more to do. Most of these children, who are coming
from very poor families, study in local schools that fail to provide modern
facilities and education to them. A few students, who are very talented,
have shown a very good progress, improving their skill in the English language.
Lak Daruwo plans to work aggressively with these children in order to accelerate
their progress.
In addition, we have started to fund the construction of a new building facility
at the temple in order to hold classes and a computer center. The building is
funded by both Lak Daruwo and the temple. The architectural plan for the building
was done by Mr. Mahendra Rodrigo, a Civil Engineer working in Houston.
